Q&A
A: You don't need to worry too much about gear! The experience includes insulated coveralls, gloves, and winter boots, so you'll stay warm. Just wear some thermal layers underneath and maybe a hat. Dress in layers since the weather can change, but you’ll be well taken care of!
A: Yes! Kenai Backcountry Adventures is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. If it looks like it might be dangerous or too stormy, they'll let you know and help you pick another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast after booking.
A: Yes, kids absolutely can join! The company recommends children be at least 12 years old for snowmobiling. They can snowshoe younger, but kids under 16 may need a parent to ride with them. It's a great family outing!

Just got back from the Snowmobile and Snowshoe Dual Adventure in Kenai Fjords NP!
OMG, this experience was amazing! We started the day with snowshoeing around the stunning Exit Glacier. Then we jumped on the snowmobiles and zoomed through the backcountry. The guides were super friendly and made sure we were all safe. I can't recommend this enough for anyone looking for a wild day out in nature. Bring your camera for the views! Totally worth it!
Thinking of gifting the Snowmobile & Snowshoe Adventure - any tips?
I wanna surprise my partner with this snowmobile and snowshoe experience in Kenai Fjords NP. I’ve read amazing reviews! Any recommendations for what they should expect? Also, should I book now or wait a bit closer to winter?
