Q&A
A: Great question! Kids need to be at least 6 years old to join the snowmobile tour, but they have to ride with an adult. If you're thinking of bringing younger kids, I'd suggest checking with Kenai Backcountry Adventures directly to see if they have any special considerations or options.
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Kenai Backcountry Adventures is pretty flexible about changing dates if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Just make sure to give them a call ahead of time to avoid any cancellation fees. They want you to enjoy the experience as much as possible!
A: You’ll definitely want to dress in layers! Kenai Backcountry Adventures provides insulated jackets, snow bibs, gloves, and boots, but I suggest wearing thermal layers underneath for extra warmth. Also, don’t forget a good hat and scarf because it can get windy out there!

Just booked the Snowmobile Classic Tour - any tips?
Hey everyone! I just booked the Snowmobile Classic Tour in Kenai Fjords for my partner's birthday! I'm super excited, but I’d love any tips or must-know details from those who’ve done it. It sounds amazing with the guided views and all the snow gear included! Just wondering what to expect and if I should bring anything special.
My experience on the Snowmobile Classic Tour!
Just got back from the Snowmobile Classic Tour in Kenai Fjords, and wow, what a rush! The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. The machines were in great shape too. Riding through that snowy landscape was like something out of a movie! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an adventure. Just don’t forget your gloves; my hands got a bit cold despite the gear they provide!
