Q&A
A: Yes, kids can join! Generally, participants need to be at least 8 years old to ride as passengers and 16 to drive their own snowmobile. Just make sure to check with Sierra Adventures for any specific requirements. They are super accommodating and have great gear for younger riders too.
A: Dress in layers! Start with a thermal base layer, add a fleece or insulated jacket, and then a waterproof outer layer. Don’t forget warm gloves, a hat, and snow boots. Sierra Adventures provides helmets, but bring your own if you prefer! Also, wear sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes from wind and snow.
A: Sierra Adventures has a flexible cancellation policy. If the weather is too bad for a safe experience, they'll work with you to reschedule or give a full refund. Definitely call them ahead of time if you're unsure about conditions—they're super helpful and want you to have a great time!

Thinking about gifting the snowmobiling experience in Reno!
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the snowmobiling package from Sierra Adventures for my partner’s birthday. Has anyone done it? How was the experience? I see they have options for scenic rides too, which sounds perfect for us. Just nervous about the cold and what to wear. Any advice?
Best experience ever – snowmobiling in the Sierras!
I just got back from the snowmobiling adventure in Reno, and wow! The guides were super chill and knew all the best spots. We had a mix of scenic and some fun, faster trails. I definitely recommend bringing a camera for the views! It was around $200 for two of us, and worth every penny. Can’t wait to go again!
