Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Snowshoe Through History Tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it's best for kids around 10 and up since the hike can be moderately challenging. Just make sure they can handle 3-4 hours of walking in snow. If you're bringing younger kids, maybe just check with the provider to see if they have any recommendations.

Q: What's the best way to get there from Denver? Any parking issues?

A: The tour provides private transportation, so you don’t have to worry about parking! They’ll pick you up from a designated location in Denver. Just make sure to arrive on time so you don't miss the shuttle. If you drive yourself, look for the trailhead parking; it’s usually pretty straightforward to find.

Q: What should I wear for the Snowshoe Through History Tour? Is it super cold?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly, especially if you're snowshoeing, but you’ll warm up once you start moving. Recommended gear includes thermal layers, a good waterproof jacket, gloves, and warm socks. Don’t forget a hat! They’ll send you an email with suggestions too, which is super helpful.

Thinking about gifting the Snowshoe Through History Tour!

Hey everyone! I'm considering this snowshoeing tour in Denver for my friend’s birthday. It sounds so cool to learn about the history while enjoying the snow! It’s with a private group and looks like it lasts about 3-4 hours. Does anyone have tips or experiences they can share? Also, how strenuous is it?

Snowshoeing in Denver - worth it?

I'm curious about the Snowshoe Through History Tour. It sounds fun, but I’ve never snowshoed before. How does it compare to regular hiking? Also, what’s included? Is it really a private group? I want to make sure it’s a good experience before booking.
