Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids go?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the Sonoma Coast Tasting Tour, but it’s definitely geared more towards adults, especially with the wine and mead tastings. Kids can come along, but they won’t be able to participate in the alcohol tastings. Just make sure they're okay with some long travel times and the nature of the tastings!

Q: Can this tour be customized? What’s a good time of year to go?

A: Yes! You can definitely customize the tour based on what you want to see. If you love cheese, for example, you could spend extra time at the Marin Cheese Trail stops. As for timing, late spring or early fall are awesome, as the weather is often perfect and you can enjoy the coastal views without the summer crowds.

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Any recommendations?

A: Dress comfortably! You’ll want layers since it can get chilly along the coast and sunny inland. Also, good walking shoes are a must—especially if you plan to explore the ranch and the cheese trail. I recommend bringing a light jacket and maybe a hat if you’re sensitive to sun. A backpack is handy for snacks and water.

Thinking about gifting the Sonoma Coast Tasting Tour!

Hey everyone! I'm considering this Sonoma Coast Tasting Tour as a birthday gift for my parents. They love cheese and wine, and I think they’d have a blast. The stops at Marin French Cheese and Heidrun Meadery sound awesome! But what’s the parking situation like? Are there any hidden fees or costs I should be aware of?

Advice on food allergies for the Sonoma Coast Tasting Tour?

I’m planning to book the Sonoma Coast Tasting Tour for my sister’s birthday, but she has a severe nut allergy. Are the stops accommodating? I really want her to enjoy the experience!
