Q&A
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes with good traction! I did the hike in late spring, and it was a bit muddy in some areas, so old sneakers or waterproof shoes are a plus. Layer your clothes since it can be cooler in the morning but warms up by afternoon. Light jackets are great to have too, just in case!
A: No strict age restrictions, but they recommend that kids be at least 10 years old to handle the hike. We had a 12-year-old in our group, and he loved every moment of it! Just make sure they can keep up with a moderate pace.
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather is bad! They’re pretty flexible as long as you give them a heads-up. I had to change our date due to rain, and it was super easy to do. Just make sure to check the forecast a few days before your trip.

Just got back from the Sonoma Private Hike and Wine Tour!
OMG, I just did the Sonoma Private Hike and Wine Tour last weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! We hiked for about 5 miles through some stunning redwood forests and rolling hills. Our guide, who was super knowledgeable, told us all about the local plants and history. After the hike, we went wine tasting at this cute little winery that only produces a few hundred cases a year. The wines were incredible! Perfect for a gift or just a fun day out.
Looking for gift ideas? Consider this hike and wine combo!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking of getting the Sonoma Private Hike and Wine Tour as a gift for my sister's birthday. She loves hiking and wine, and I think this combo is perfect! Plus, you get a private tour, which feels super special. Has anyone done this recently? What was your experience like?
