In small groups of no more than 12, you'll get your hands dirty making pizza dough, topping it, and firing it into our commercial grade ovens. Sourdough is one of the most difficult types of dough to work with, and not typically used at New York pizzerias. But we'll show you techniques that will let you recreate our pizzas at home with ease. We're happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies with prior notice. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate gluten free diets or gluten allergies.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this class? I want to buy it for my 16-year-old daughter.

A: Yes, there is an age limit for this class. The class is open to anyone over 12, but minors under 21 will only be served non-alcoholic drinks, which is great for younger participants! Just make sure to let them know you're bringing a teenager when you book.

Q: What kind of snacks and drinks do they provide during the class?

A: They provide soda, bottled water, and some light snacks throughout the class. You also get a nice dinner with your handmade pizza at the end! It's a great way to enjoy your creation and mingle with the group.

Q: Can this class be rescheduled if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your class if necessary, just make sure to give them a heads up at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, which is nice! Just check their policy on their website when you book.

Just booked the Sourdough Pizza Class in Brooklyn! What should I expect?

I'm really excited! I booked the Sourdough Pizza Class with Chef Chris in Brooklyn for next month. I've never worked with sourdough before, so I'm a bit nervous but also stoked to learn some new techniques. I heard the snacks are pretty good too. Anyone who's been, what should I wear? Just regular clothes, or should I expect to get messy?

Gifted my husband the Sourdough Pizza Class and he loved it!

I surprised my husband with the Sourdough Pizza Class last weekend, and he had a blast! Chef Chris really knows his stuff. The class was super hands-on, which he loved. Plus, he came home with a great recipe. Definitely recommend it for anyone who loves cooking or just wants a fun night out in Brooklyn!
