Q&A
A: No age restrictions! This tour is designed for everyone, from children to seniors. The guides are really accommodating and make sure every age group has a great experience. Just keep in mind that some areas can be a bit rugged, so it might be good to have a child carrier for younger kids if you plan on hiking around the lava tunnels.
A: Layers are key! It can get chilly at the volcanoes, especially in the evening. Wear breathable clothes and bring a light jacket. The tour provides down jackets, which is great! Also, wear comfy shoes since there will be some walking on uneven surfaces.
A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can definitely reschedule! They’re really flexible about it. Just give them a call or check their website to see available dates. They want everyone to enjoy the experience, so they’ll work with you as best as they can.

Thinking of gifting the South Point Tour to my parents!
Hey everyone! I’m considering this South Point tour for my parents' anniversary. They love exploring nature and stargazing! I read there's a black sand beach and a good local restaurant in Hilo included. Anyone done this before? How was your experience? Were the guides knowledgeable? Any tips for making it extra special?
Just came back from the Volcanoes & Stargazing Tour!
Wow, what an experience! The views were unreal. We hit the Kona coffee farm, a cute bakery, and the black sand beach. The stargazing at night was simply breathtaking. The guides had binoculars which made it even better. Totally recommend it! Just be ready for some walking.
