Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour?

A: There aren’t specific age restrictions for the tour, so it's pretty family-friendly! Kids usually love seeing the movie locations and beaches. Just keep in mind that some of the stops might have rocky areas, so supervise younger ones closely. Always a good idea to check if they have any specific requirements on the day of your visit.

Q: What's the best time to book this tour? Any weather issues?

A: The best time to book is usually between April and October when the weather is calmer. If it rains, they might have to adjust the stops, so a flexible schedule helps. I went in early June, and the weather was perfect! Just check the forecast a day or two prior for any changes.

Q: How much time should we set aside for the South Shore Aloha tour?

A: Plan for at least 6-8 hours for the entire tour. This includes travel time between spots, stops for pictures, and exploring places like Hale'iwa and Lanikai. If you want to spend extra time at the beaches, definitely add some more time to your day. It’s a packed adventure!

Thinking about gifting the South Shore Aloha Tour – any personal experiences?

I’m considering getting this tour for my best friend who loves Hawaii and film. I read it goes to locations from 'Jurassic Park' and 'Lost'! Sounds like a super fun day. Can anyone share how their experience was or if the tour guide was good? I want to make it special!

Anyone else love the breathtaking views on this tour?

We just got back from the South Shore Aloha Tour, and WOW! The views at Lanikai Beach were unreal, and seeing where 'Hawaii Five-0' filmed was so cool. The guide was awesome and made it super fun. If you're thinking about it as a gift, it’s a no-brainer! Just wear comfy shoes!
