Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Southern Flavors Food Tour?

A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes since you'll be on your feet for about 3 hours. The tour goes through downtown Savannah, so dress for the weather—light layers are a good idea. Also, you might want to avoid anything too fancy since it's a casual walking tour. And don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!

Q: Are kids allowed on the Southern Flavors Food Tour?

A: Yes, the tour is suitable for all ages! It’s a great way to introduce kids to the amazing food culture here in Savannah. Just keep in mind that they might not enjoy all the food as much as adults, but the historical info will definitely keep them engaged. You can also ask the tour guide if there are any kid-friendly food options.

Q: What if we need to reschedule our tour?

A: If you need to reschedule, they typically allow changes provided you give them enough notice. I think it's usually 48 hours in advance, but it’s best to check their specific policy on the website or give them a call. They’re pretty accommodating if you reach out early!

Considering the Southern Flavors Food Tour as a gift!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about buying the Southern Flavors Food Tour for my parents who are visiting Savannah. They love trying new foods and learning about history. I’ve heard the food stops are amazing and you get to explore the historic district. Has anyone done this tour? What was your favorite food stop?

Just did the Southern Flavors Tour and WOW!

I just got back from the Southern Flavors Food Tour and I can’t recommend it enough! The mix of history and food was just perfect. We stopped at 5 different places, and the fried green tomatoes at Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room were my fave! Just a heads up, bring some cash for drinks. Can't wait to go back and try more!
