The guide does an awesome job of explaining Southern staples like Shrimp n Grits and Crab Cakes, so even if you’ve never had them, you’ll get a taste of authentic flavors. Plus, the atmosphere is super relaxed, making it a fun way to dive into Southern cuisine.
A: Spring and fall are the best! The weather in Savannah during these times is usually perfect for walking around and eating outside. Summers can get really hot and humid, and winters might be too chilly for the outdoor stops. So, aim for April to June or September to November for the best experience.

Just did the Southern Traditions Dinner Tour in Savannah!
OMG, I just got back from the Southern Traditions Dinner Tour, and it was AMAZING. We had Shrimp n Grits, Crab Cakes, and the oysters were to die for! Our guide was so knowledgeable about Savannah’s history. Plus, we got to drink at Six Pence, which is such a cute pub. Totally recommend it for anyone who loves good food and a relaxed vibe!
Thinking of gifting the Southern Dinner Tour—advice?
I’m considering getting the Southern Traditions Dinner Tour as a gift for my parents who love trying new foods. They’ve never been to Savannah but love Southern cuisine. Anyone think this would be a good choice? What should I know before I book?
