Q&A
A: Yes, it's recommended for ages 12 and up. The ghost stories can be pretty spooky and might not be suitable for younger kids. If you’re thinking about taking younger teens, just be aware that the content could be intense for them. Always better to check the websites for any updates, too!
A: If the weather is really bad, like heavy rain or storms, they may cancel the tour for safety reasons. But they usually let you know in advance and offer to reschedule for another day. It’s a good idea to check their website or call ahead if the forecast looks grim.
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking quite a bit! Dress in layers too; the temperature can drop when the sun goes down. It’s also good to check the weather, just in case you need a light jacket or umbrella.

Thinking about gifting the Ghostly Encounter tour!
So, I’m considering this Ghostly Encounter tour in Gettysburg for my sister’s birthday. She loves spooky stuff, and I think the idea of a ghost leading the tour is amazing! Has anyone done this? How was the experience? Any tips for a first-timer?
Just did the Ghostly Encounter tour! Here’s my take.
I just finished the Ghostly Encounter tour with Dr. John Francis Bournes as our guide and wow, it was incredible! The storytelling was on point. It really felt like we were walking through history. The haunted homes were chilling! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good scare.
