Q&A
A: It's generally recommended for ages 12 and up. While some kids might enjoy the spooky stories, younger ones could find it a bit intense. If you do take younger kids, just be ready to reassure them if they get scared. Always good to check in with the guide beforehand if you have concerns!
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since it’s a walking tour! The streets can be uneven, and we’ll be on our feet for the duration. Layers are a smart idea too, as it can get chilly at night. And don’t forget a light jacket if it’s breezy!
A: Parking can be tricky since it’s downtown Galveston. There are a few lots but they get filled up fast. I'd recommend arriving early and looking for street parking or using a nearby parking garage. It’s also a good idea to check the tour meeting point ahead of time so you’re not wandering around in the dark!

Just got back from the Spooky Strand Ghost Tour in Galveston!
OMG, y’all! The Spooky Strand Ghost Tour was AMAZING! We met at a cute little spot near the Strand, and our guide was super knowledgeable about all the ghost stories. I mean, I didn’t realize how many people have died there! The tales about the hurricanes and the pirate Jean Lafitte were mind-blowing. It was a bit creepy walking at night but totally worth it. Pro tip: wear good shoes and bring a light jacket—it gets chilly when the sun goes down. 10/10 would recommend!
Thinking of gifting the Ghost Tour for Halloween!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the Spooky Strand Ghost Tour as a surprise gift for my friend’s birthday in October. She loves ghost stories! But I’m a bit worried it might not be as fun if the weather’s bad. Any tips? Has anyone done this in the rain?
