Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Are sneakers really necessary?

A: Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes! The streets in St. Augustine are old and can be uneven. I went in sandals and regretted it halfway through. Dress in layers too, since it can get warm but cool down in the shade!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? What's the age range for participants?

A: Great question! The tour is suitable for all ages, but younger kids might get tired since it’s a walking tour. I brought my 12-year-old and he loved it, especially the stories about the city’s history. Just be prepared for some walking!

Q: How's the parking situation in St. Augustine for this tour?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky in St. Augustine, especially during peak times. There are a few public lots, and you can also find street parking, but it fills up fast. Arriving early is a good idea, or you could use a rideshare service to avoid the hassle!

Thinking about gifting the walking tour experience!

I’m considering getting this walking tour for my parents for their anniversary. They love history and walking around new places. Has anyone taken it recently? What did you think? Any tips for making it special?
