Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for parasailing at St Ignace?

A: Yes, there is an age limit. Kids usually need to be at least 6 years old to parasail, and they must weigh a minimum of 75 pounds. Parents can ride along too, and it's a great family activity! Just check with the operator if you have specific concerns.

Q: What should I wear for the parasailing experience?

A: Wear comfortable clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting wet! A swimsuit is perfect, and don’t forget some sunscreen. Also, sunglasses with a strap can help keep them secure while you’re up in the air. It's really fun but can get a bit windy!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our booking?

A: If the weather isn’t safe for parasailing, the team will contact you to reschedule. It’s important to check their cancellation policy, but they’re usually pretty good about finding a new time. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches!

Just went parasailing in St Ignace - what a rush!

I took my first parasailing flight with Mackinaw Parasailing last week, and wow! The views of the Mackinac Bridge were breathtaking. I was nervous at first, but the staff was super friendly and made everything easy. The 600-foot flight was a bit more exhilarating than I expected! Totally recommend it as a gift for anyone looking for some adventure. I can't stop thinking about it!

Thinking about gifting parasailing - worth it?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of getting a parasailing experience at St Ignace as a gift for my sister. She’s adventurous but has never done it before. Is it easy for beginners? What’s the best time to go? Any tips would be great!
