Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 Walking Tour?

A: There's no specific age limit for the tour, but it's generally recommended for kids 10 and up since some topics might be better suited for that age. They may not appreciate the history and stories as much if they're younger. Plus, it involves some walking, so it's good for them to have the stamina!

Q: How long does the tour usually last?

A: The tour typically lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group's pace and the number of questions asked. It's a nice stroll, so don’t worry too much about rushing through. You'll get to see a lot at a leisurely pace!

Q: What should I wear for the cemetery tour?

A: Dress comfortably! I'd suggest wearing sneakers or comfy shoes since you'll be walking on uneven surfaces. Also, consider the weather—if it's hot, bring a hat and sunscreen. It's New Orleans, so layers might be a good idea for the evening chill.

Considering gifting the St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 walking tour—thoughts?

I’m thinking about getting this walking tour for my history-loving mom’s birthday. She loves New Orleans’ unique vibe and is all about that local culture. Any tips for what to expect or if it’s worth it? I’ve seen it’s free, but are the guides good?

Just did the St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 tour—amazing experience!

I went on this tour last weekend and it was fantastic! The guide was so passionate about the history of the cemetery. I learned a lot about the famous folks buried there and even got to see Leah Chase’s tomb! Highly recommend it if you're in New Orleans. Perfect way to spend a couple of hours.
