Q: What's the best time of year to do these paddle board lessons in Oahu?

A: Honestly, any time of year is great for SUP in Oahu! However, the water is calmest and the weather is usually the best from April to October. If you're looking for the least chance of rain and clear skies, that's when I'd suggest going. Just keep in mind that summer can get a bit crowded with tourists.

Q: Are there age limits for kids doing paddle board lessons?

A: Great question! Generally, kids ages 8 and up can join the lessons, but it’s best to check with the instructor beforehand. They can tailor the lesson based on age and skill level. Also, it's a good idea to take a parent or guardian along if they're younger!

Q: What should we wear for the paddle board lessons? Is it super casual?

A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that can get wet! A swimsuit is perfect, and you can throw on a rash guard for sun protection. Also, consider water shoes or sandals that are secure on your feet. It's pretty casual, just make sure you feel good moving around on the board!
