Q&A
A: Yes! Kids are welcome to join the tour. However, I’d recommend checking with the provider for any specific age recommendations, as young children might need extra supervision. The tour is really family-friendly, so it’s a perfect outing for all ages. Just make sure they can swim or wear a lifejacket at all times!
A: Dress comfortably! Quick-dry swimwear is a great choice, and don’t forget a rash guard or a light long-sleeve shirt to protect from the sun. Water shoes or sandals are also recommended since the river can have rocky areas. Bring a hat and sunscreen for sure!
A: If the weather isn't cooperating, the tour operators will typically reach out to you to reschedule. They prioritize safety, so if conditions are rough, they won't go out. There's a good chance they'll offer flexibility in case you need to change dates, which is great!

Just did the Turtle Tour and it was AMAZING!
I recently took the Stand Up Paddle Nature and Turtle Tour in Oahu and I can't recommend it enough! The river is stunning, and we saw so many turtles! Our guide was awesome; he shared so much about the local flora and fauna. It was super relaxed and perfect for beginners. If you’re thinking of a fun day out, definitely go for it!
Considering this tour as a gift for my partner!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking of gifting the Stand Up Paddle and Turtle Tour to my partner for our anniversary. We both love nature and he’s never paddleboarded before. Do you guys think it’s beginner-friendly? Also, any tips for making it extra special?
