Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for paddleboarding at Cape May, but younger kids might need an adult to accompany them. Miss Chris Fishing Center suggests that kids around 12 and older can go solo as long as they're comfortable in the water. Just remember to wear a life jacket, which is provided!
A: You should wear something comfortable that can get wet, like a swimsuit or board shorts. Many people go in their bathing suits and bring a cover-up for after. It’s a fun way to cool off, so don’t worry about getting wet!
A: Yes, Miss Chris Fishing Center is pretty flexible with rescheduling for weather! If it’s too windy or storms are rolling in, you can easily call them to change your reservation. Just make sure to do it within a reasonable time frame.

Thinking of gifting a paddleboard session at Cape May!
I’m looking to surprise my boyfriend with a paddleboarding experience at Cape May. I’ve read it’s beautiful there, especially with the wildlife around Cape Island Creek. Anyone have tips or thoughts about this? I’m wondering if it’s suitable for beginners since he’s never done it before. Also, how’s the parking situation there?
Just did the paddleboarding at Cape May—what a blast!
OMG! We just finished our paddleboard rental at Cape May and it was so much fun! The water was calm, and we saw some Ospreys flying around. Definitely recommend it for a chill day. We went early morning, and it was perfect. Anyone else done this? What was your favorite part?
