From your single-speed beach cruiser or E-Bike you’ll hear local facts and enjoy beach views sneaking out between million-dollar homes. We've built a safe route that we’ll upload to your phone. The route guides you through neighborhoods, on sidewalks, by restaurants, and into the state park (+$2 to enter). Tour is 8.5 miles with lots of opportunities to pause and sightsee. In the park you can take pictures at the iconic pier, visit the many bathrooms, or explore the gift shop. Keep your eyes peeled for exotic birds, deer, dolphins, and an alligator or two - Eek! **SELF-GUIDED** TOUR: - Ride when you want, at your pace! - No human guide = Stop for food. Swim. Photoshoot!* - Includes bike, helmet, lock, & phone mount. - Does not include park fee (+$2) > You ride mostly in neighborhoods and on sidewalks. > E-Bikes fit riders 4'11" & up; must be 16 to ride. * 3 hours AVERAGE; can be done faster or slower. No rush to return (unless inventory is limited), just back by 5 PM.

Q: What's the best time of year to do the E-Bike tour in Destin? Is it too hot in summer?

A: The best time to do the E-Bike tour is probably in spring or fall. Summer can get super hot and humid, especially in Destin. Mornings are cooler, so I'd recommend starting early to avoid the heat! Just remember to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen if you go in the summer.

Q: Are there age restrictions for the E-Bike tour? Can my 14-year-old join?

A: Yes, you need to be at least 16 to ride the E-Bikes. So your 14-year-old wouldn't be able to join on that. However, they can ride along on a regular beach cruiser if they’re comfortable!

Q: How does the self-guided aspect work? Can I really take my time and stop wherever?

A: Definitely! The self-guided tour means you set your own pace. You can stop for photos, grab snacks, or even swim if the weather's nice. Just be back by 5 PM to return the bike. They give you a route mapped out on your phone, so it’s super easy to follow.

Just did the State Park E-Bike Tour, here's my experience!

I recently went on the State Park E-Bike Tour in Destin and it was fantastic! The route was super well-planned, with beautiful beach views and lots of spots to stop. We saw dolphins and even an alligator near the park! I loved being able to ride at our own pace and the E-Bikes were easy to handle. Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the outdoors!
