Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour? Is it good for younger kids?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd say the walking tour is best for kids over 8. Younger ones might find it tough to keep up for three hours. Parents should keep that in mind and maybe do a shorter version or break it up with lots of snack stops! The sailing part is super fun if they like being on boats.

Q: How do the sailing times work? Do you get to choose when to sail?

A: The sailing is set after the walking tour, so you don't choose the time. But you do get 90 minutes on the water which is great! Just be sure to dress for the weather since it can get windy. And they do offer rain dates if the weather gets really bad.

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Is it mostly walking?

A: Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes because the tour is about 3 hours on foot! I suggest layers since it can be chilly near the water during the sailing part. And maybe a hat for sun protection. It’s NYC, so you want to look cute but also be ready for some serious walking!

Thinking of gifting the Statue of Liberty sailing experience!

I’m considering this NYC walking tour and sailing experience as a gift for my partner’s birthday. The idea of seeing the Statue of Liberty from a tall ship sounds incredible! Anyone done this? How was your experience? I want to make sure it's worth it and fitting for the occasion.

Can someone describe the walking tour details?

I’m really curious about the walking tour part of this experience. What specific landmarks do you get to see? And are there any food stops? I hear NYC food is amazing, and I’d love to try some local bites while touring!
