Q&A
A: Yes, children need to be at least 13 years old to join the tour. However, if they’re younger, they can ride along if they’re comfortable on an e-bike and can keep up with the group. Just make sure to check with Journey Rides beforehand about any specific requirements.
A: Wear comfortable clothing and good shoes, like sneakers. The eBike makes it pretty easy, but you’ll still want to be able to move. I recommend wearing layers since it can get chilly in the mornings. Don't forget sunscreen because you'll be out in the sun for a bit!
A: Yes, weather can definitely affect the tour. If it's too rainy or there's lightning, they will reschedule. Journey Rides will contact you ahead of time if there's a need to change plans. It’s best to check the forecast before your tour and have a backup date in mind.

Thinking about gifting the Steamboat Springs Local Ebike Tour!
I’m considering this eBike tour for my sister’s birthday! She loves biking but hasn’t tried an eBike yet. I think the local guide part is awesome since she’s into nature and history. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if it’s worth it? Also, how's the parking situation near downtown Steamboat?
Just did the Steamboat eBike tour—What a blast!
I just got back from the Steamboat Springs Local Ebike Tour and I can't recommend it enough! The eBike is super fun and the guide was so knowledgeable about the area. We saw some great spots and learned a ton about the local history. It was perfect for a first-timer like me. Can't wait to go back! Anyone have tips for the best time of year to do this?
