Q&A
A: Yes, this hike is family-friendly and suitable for all ages! Kids usually love the stories and the murals. Just keep in mind that it’s about 4-5 miles, so younger kids might need a little encouragement. The guide is experienced and can adjust the pace if needed.
A: The best time is spring or fall when the weather is mild! Summers can get hot, so make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen. If there's heavy rain, they usually reschedule for safety, so you'll get an email if that happens.
A: There's street parking near Splitlog Coffee, but it can get busy, so I recommend arriving a bit early. The guide usually meets everyone outside the coffee shop, so just look for the group. If you're coming from out of town, there's a parking garage nearby too!

Thinking of gifting the Strawberry Hill hike! Any tips?
I’m considering giving the Strawberry Hill and Downtown KCK hike as a gift to my partner's parents. They love outdoor activities and history! Has anyone done it? What did you think of the guides? Any cool stories shared during the hike?
Just did the Strawberry Hill hike – absolutely loved it!
I went on the Strawberry Hill hike last weekend and it was a blast! The views across the river were incredible, and learning about the Wyandot Nation was so moving. Stopped at a cute cafe afterward. Totally recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and educational outdoor experience!
