Q&A
A: Kids can definitely join the hike! There isn't a strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for kids ages 5 and up. The trail is pretty well-maintained and the pace is leisurely, so little ones usually do well. Just make sure they can handle a few miles of walking and bring some snacks for the trail!
A: Absolutely! This hike is considered beginner-friendly. The guides take it slow, and they’re awesome at helping you along the way. The views are totally worth it, and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. Just wear comfortable shoes and you'll be fine!
A: If the weather looks bad, they’ll let you know ahead of time and you can usually reschedule your hike without any penalty. Safety is a top priority for them. So, don’t worry too much about it! Just keep an eye on the forecast before your trip.

Thinking of gifting the Smokies history hike!
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the 'Stroll Back in Time' hike in Gatlinburg for my partner’s birthday. We love the outdoors but haven’t done a guided hike before. The idea of seeing a spring-house and old rock walls sounds amazing! I’m just a bit worried about the difficulty level since we're not super experienced hikers. Any thoughts?
Just did the Stroll Back in Time hike!
I just got back from the Stroll Back in Time hike and wow, it was so worth it! The guide was super knowledgeable about the local history, and the stream we walked beside was gorgeous. Perfect little snacks too, and I loved the relaxing pace. If you're debating whether to go for it, do it!!
