Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for kids, but they need to be at least 5 years old to go on the sled dog cart. Younger kids can still enjoy the puppy playtime and all the other activities at the camp. Just keep in mind that it could be a long day for little ones, so packing some snacks and a jacket is a good idea!
A: You don’t need to worry about parking because they provide pickup and drop-off right at the cruise docks! It's super convenient, and you just hop on the van or bus with the tour group. The drive up the Klondike Highway is stunning, so keep your camera ready!
A: Good question! Summer in Skagway can be mild, but it’s always best to dress in layers since it can get chilly, especially up in the Yukon. A light jacket, comfy shoes for walking, and maybe a hat are perfect. You’ll be outside a lot, and trust me, you don’t want to be cold while playing with the puppies!

Just Booked the Summer Sled Dog Tour - So Excited!
I just booked the Summer Sled Dog Remote Yukon Camp tour for my family’s trip to Skagway! We’re going next month and I can’t wait to let my kids play with the puppies. I heard the ride on the sled dog cart is super fun and the views from the Klondike Highway are amazing! Anyone have tips on making the most of this experience?
Thinking of Gifting the Sled Dog Tour - Thoughts?
I’m considering gifting this sled dog tour to my sister-in-law for her birthday. She’s a huge dog lover and I think she'd really enjoy it! Just a bit worried about the weather since it’s in Alaska. Anyone had experiences in less-than-perfect weather?
