Q&A
A: There's no specific weight limit mentioned, but they do recommend checking with the crew if you have concerns. The boat is quite stable, so as long as everyone is comfortable and safe, you should be fine. Just make sure your parents are able to move around a bit since the tour can get lively with the dolphins around!
A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the crew will usually contact you to reschedule or offer a refund. They prioritize safety, so if conditions are rough, they won't go out. It's best to keep an eye on the forecast and contact them if you're unsure!
A: It's best to wear something comfortable and maybe a swimsuit under your clothes if you don't mind getting splashed a bit! The dolphins can be super playful, and you might get wet from the waves too. Don't forget sunscreen and maybe a hat!

Just got back from the Sunset Dolphin Watch Tour!
Hey everyone! I just did the Sunset Dolphin Watch Tour out of South Padre Island and it was an amazing experience! The dolphins were super active and we saw them jumping and playing all around the boat. The guides were really knowledgeable and shared cool facts about the dolphins and the Laguna Madre. I definitely recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature. Just be ready for some splashes!
Thinking about gifting the dolphin tour for my sister's birthday!
So I'm considering this Sunset Dolphin Watch Tour for my sister's birthday, but Iām not sure if she'd love it. She loves animals, but is it really worth it? How long is the actual tour? Also, can kids go on this? I would love to hear some thoughts from anyone who's done it!
