Q&A
A: The hike is rated as easy to moderate, so if you’re in decent shape, you should be fine! But if you don’t exercise regularly, it might feel a bit challenging, especially with the altitude at 6,000 to 8,000 ft. Just take it slow and enjoy the scenery! You can always take breaks as needed.
A: Yes, this hike works great for teens! It’s not too strenuous, and they’ll enjoy the wildlife and beautiful views. Just make sure they are up for a bit of exercise, and it’ll be a fun experience for the whole family! Also a great bonding time.
A: In winter, you’ll want layers! Start with thermal undergarments, then add a fleece or warm top, and a waterproof jacket. Don’t forget gloves and a hat since it can get pretty cold up there. They provide Yak Traks, but sturdy waterproof boots are a must!

Thinking of gifting the Sunset Hiking Tour in the Rockies!
I'm considering this hike for my partner's birthday! The idea of watching the sunset over the mountains is so romantic. Plus, they provide snacks and water! I’m a little worried about the altitude since we’re not regular hikers. Anyone have tips for first-timers? Also, how's the wildlife? I’d love to spot some cool animals!
Just got back from the Sunset Hike – WOW!
I did the sunset hike last week and it was amazing! The views were stunning, and the guides were really friendly. We got to see a couple of hawks and even some deer! The Yak Traks they provided were a lifesaver in the snow. Can't recommend this experience enough for anyone looking for a unique gift idea!
