Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit for the Canyonlands Sunset Airplane Tour, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. It's a pretty laid-back experience, so I think older kids and teens would absolutely love it! Just make sure they can sit still for about an hour.
A: Dress comfortably! I recommend wearing layers since it can get a bit chilly up in the air as the sun sets. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and definitely bring sunglasses for the glare when the sun is low. Plus, don’t forget your camera for those stunning views!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the tour can be rescheduled. Safety is their top priority, and they’ll contact you ahead of time if they need to make changes. They are pretty flexible with rescheduling, so no worries there!

Thinking about gifting the Canyonlands Sunset Airplane Tour—thoughts?
I’m considering this as a gift for my partner’s birthday. I’ve heard the views over Dead Horse Point are absolutely breathtaking! Is it really as good as everyone says? Also, how’s the overall experience? Any tips?
Just did the Canyonlands Sunset Airplane Tour!
OMG, it was the best experience ever! The sunset views over the canyons are just out of this world. I got some amazing shots of the Moab Potash ponds too. The narration was super informative, and the pilots were great! Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Moab.
