Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the sunset kayaking tour? I'm thinking of bringing my 10-year-old.

A: Great question! There isn't a strict age limit, but we recommend kids be at least 8 years old to kayak. Just make sure they can handle the paddling and follow safety instructions. Tandem kayaks are great for younger kids to paddle with an adult.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Calypso Kayaking will reschedule your tour without any extra fees. They keep an eye on the conditions, and safety is a top priority. You'll have plenty of options to pick a new date!

Q: What should we wear for the sunset kayaking tour? Is it gonna be chilly or hot?

A: Definitely dress for warmth since it can get a bit cool once the sun sets. Light layers are best, and don't forget to wear flip-flops or water shoes. A swimsuit is a good idea too, just in case you get splashed!

Sunset Kayaking at Manatee Cove - What an Amazing Experience!

I just got back from the sunset kayaking tour with Calypso Kayaking and I have to say it was incredible! Paddling through Manatee Cove while watching the sunset was totally magical. We saw dolphins swimming alongside us, and even spotted a few manatees! The kayaks were super comfortable and the guides were really friendly. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature!

Thinking about gifting the sunset kayaking tour - any advice?

So I’m considering getting this kayaking tour for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves the outdoors! I just worry about whether he’d find it too difficult or if the sunset timing will mess up our dinner plans. Anyone know the usual duration of the tour?
