Experience an unforgettable sunset manta ray snorkel tour, consistently ranked among the top lifetime adventures in Hawaiʻi. We specialize in small-group tours, limiting each experience to no more than 10 guests in the water, unlike many operators with 25–50 passengers. The result is a calmer, more personal encounter with these incredible animals. Check in directly at our in-water boat slip (G-8) for fast, easy boarding. After a thorough safety briefing, enjoy a smooth 10–15 minute ride to a prime manta snorkel site, followed by 40–45 minutes in the water with attentive, experienced swim guides. Reboarding is simple with our wide ladder, and the return ride offers comfortable seating. Each tour includes 2 crew members for personalized attention. A minimum of 4 guests is required; if not met, we’ll coordinate a reschedule. No hidden fees. Snorkel gear, wetsuits, cold water, hot cocoa and tea, snacks, GoPro 13 photos and videos, plus all taxes and fees are included.

Q&A

Q: What's the minimum age for kids to join the manta ray tour? Can you recommend it for families?

A: The minimum age for kids to participate is usually around 6 years old, but it can vary by specific tour conditions. This tour is great for families, especially with the small group size. Just make sure the kids are comfortable in the water and have some snorkeling experience, as the tour involves some swimming.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

A: If the weather looks unsafe, they will definitely reschedule your tour. They’re really good about communicating and finding a time that works for you. Just be flexible with your plans; they’ll usually try to fit you in as soon as possible.

Q: Is there parking near the boat slip for the tour? How’s the logistics?

A: Yes, there’s parking nearby at the harbor, but it can fill up quickly. I recommend getting there a bit early, especially if you’re going during peak tourist season. The check-in process is pretty smooth; just look for slip G-8 when you arrive!

Just did the Sunset Manta Ray Tour - Incredible Experience!

OMG, I just got back from the Sunset Manta Ray Tour in Kailua-Kona and it was unbelievable! The small group really made a difference; there were only 8 of us in the water. We saw so many manta rays and the sunset was gorgeous. They provided everything, even hot cocoa after! Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves the ocean!

Considering the Manta Ray Tour for my parents' anniversary - any tips?

Hey all! I'm thinking of getting my parents the Sunset Manta Ray Tour as an anniversary gift. They're pretty adventurous, but I want to make sure they’ll enjoy it. Any tips on what they should wear or bring? And how’s the water temp in the evening?
