Q&A

Q: Does the helicopter tour operate in bad weather? What if it gets canceled?

A: Yes, the helicopter tour does have a weather policy. If the conditions aren't safe for flying, they’ll either reschedule you or give a full refund. It's always best to call Maverick Helicopter Tours a day or two before your flight to check on the weather conditions. Also, they usually have a very good communication system, so you'll be notified if there are any changes.

Q: What should I wear for the helicopter tour? Is it cold up there?

A: I recommend wearing layers! It can get cool during the flight, especially as the sun sets. A light jacket or sweater should do the trick. Also, don’t forget your sunglasses; the views are bright and stunning, and you'll want to capture all those moments!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this helicopter tour?

A: Kids can absolutely go on the helicopter tour, but they need to be at least 2 years old to have their own seat. For children under 2, they can sit on a parent’s lap. Just keep in mind that it may be a bit loud for little ones, so bringing headphones can help!

Just did the Red Rock Canyon Helicopter Tour—Amazing Experience!

OMG, I just got back from the Sunset Red Rock Canyon Helicopter Tour and it was unreal! The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The champagne toast on the bluff was the perfect way to celebrate. We even saw some wildlife down below. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a unique gift for someone! It was a little pricey (around $300 per person), but totally worth it.
