Q&A
A: Kids of all ages can join the sunset sail! Just keep in mind that any younger ones will need adult supervision. It’s a great family-friendly experience, but make sure they’re comfortable on the water. Also, check the weather beforehand, as it can get chilly in the evening!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get pretty cool once the sun sets, especially on the water. I’d suggest bringing a light sweater and some non-skid shoes. They say it’s a good idea to have a rain jacket too, just in case. I went in early August, and it was a bit windy, so I was glad I had my jacket!
A: If the weather is bad, they will definitely reschedule. I had to change my booking because of storms once, and they were super accommodating. Just make sure you check your emails the day before for any notifications. They’re pretty good about keeping you updated!

Thinking of getting a sunset sail in Traverse City!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Sunset Sail experience for my partner’s birthday. The whole food, wine, and cocktails part sounds amazing, but I’d love to hear any tips from people who’ve done it. How was the food? And any advice on making it special? Thanks!
Questions about the sunset sail’s drink options!
I’m planning a group outing for my friends on the sunset sail. Can anyone tell me more about the drink options? They mention wine and cocktails, but what about non-alcoholic choices? Thanks!
