Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit or age restriction for the Sunset Sail Tour?

A: There's no strict weight limit, but the yacht is designed for comfort, so if you have concerns, it might be worth checking with the provider. As for age restrictions, kids are welcome but should be able to follow basic safety instructions. I took my 8-year-old, and she loved it!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the Sunset Sail Tour?

A: If the weather is deemed unsafe, Shamrock Sailing will generally reschedule your tour. They usually let you know a few hours before departure. If you're planning to gift this, it might be smart to include a little note about the rescheduling policy.

Q: What should I wear for the sailing experience?

A: Dress comfortably! It's best to wear layers since it can get cooler on the water, especially at sunset. Also, don't forget sunscreen and maybe a light jacket. Flip-flops or sneakers work fine too!

Just got back from the Sunset Sail Tour and wow!

I took the Sunset Sail with Shamrock Sailing Adventures last weekend and it was absolutely breathtaking! The yacht was super cozy, and with only six of us on board, it felt really intimate. The captain was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We even got to spot some dolphins! Highly recommend bringing your own drinks. I brought some wine and it made the experience even better. Can’t wait to gift this to my parents for their anniversary!

Thinking of gifting the Sunset Sail Tour for my friend's birthday!

Hey everyone! So I’m considering this Sunset Sail Tour in Wrightsville Beach as a birthday gift for my friend. I love that it’s a small group, and the whole BYOB thing sounds fun! Just wondering if anyone has done it recently and if it's worth it? Any tips or things to watch out for?
