As the sun begins its slow descent, we’ll anchor our boards in a quiet cove and sip your drink of choice (BYOB or non-alcoholic—we provide coolers and floating cup holders!). A: There's no strict age limit for the Sunset SUP & Sip, but we recommend that kids are at least 10 years old to paddle on their own. If your younger ones want to join, they can sit on the board with an adult. Just keep in mind that it's a calm experience, so it should be fun for everyone!

Q: What should we wear to the Sunset SUP & Sip? Is it casual or more sporty?

A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable and water-friendly, like a swimsuit and a cover-up or athletic wear. Flip flops or water shoes are great for getting on and off the board. And don’t forget a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day we booked?

A: If the weather looks sketchy, Emerald Coast Aloha usually contacts you to discuss options. They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling in case of rain or high winds. Safety is their priority, and they want you to have the best experience possible!

I just got back from the Sunset SUP & Sip and wow, it was unreal! We paddled at sunset on Lake Powell and anchored to sip drinks as the sun dipped below the horizon. The vibe was so relaxing and the instructor made it all super easy. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun evening out!
