Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the sunset tour? Is it casual or do we need to dress up?

A: You can totally keep it casual! I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit under some comfortable clothes, like a tank top and shorts. Don't forget water shoes or sandals that can get wet. And definitely bring a light jacket for when the sun sets—it can get a bit chilly out there!

Q: How many people are usually on a tour? I want a more intimate experience.

A: Great question! Fin Expeditions typically limits their tours to 11 guests, so it's definitely more intimate than some of the larger companies. You’ll get to interact with the guide and really enjoy the mangroves and marine life without feeling rushed.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, they’ll usually reach out to you and offer to reschedule or provide a refund. It’s always good to check their policy when booking, but they’re pretty accommodating when it comes to weather. Safety first!

Thinking of gifting the Sunset Mangrove Tour! Any tips?

I’m looking at getting the sunset tour with Fin Expeditions for my partner’s birthday. We love kayaking and the idea of seeing dolphins and manatees is just amazing! Can anyone share their experiences? What’s it like during sunset? Also, how early should we arrive? Thanks!

Just booked the Sunset Tour! Any recommendations?

I just booked the Sunset Tour for this coming Friday! I’m so pumped. It’s a surprise for my friend, and I can’t wait to see some wildlife! I’ve heard the guides are awesome. What should I bring with me?
