Walk on water with us!  We are the local authority on SUP lessons and tours.  Fully guided instruction and tours on the calm, inshore waters of the Banana River Lagoon.  Safety is a priority, so we always mind the weather and wind.  For this reason, we typically meet at our shop and depart from there to the best location that gets us out of the wind.  No experience necessary, but you should be a proficient swimmer.   We'll help you in every way, and teach you about getting up, paddle strokes, turning, backing up, and getting comfortable on your board.  All equipment is included.  Our paddling areas include the unique opportunity to experience dolphins and manatees as well, so we always have fun.  The lesson/tour runs from 1.5hrs to 2.5 hrs depending on your comfort level.  Please arrive ready to get wet, and have towels and a change of clothes handy.  We also recommend sunscreen, dry bag for electronics, and bottled water to keep handy.

Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the SUP lessons and tours?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids need to be comfortable in the water and ideally should be at least 8 years old to join the lesson. Just make sure they can swim! It's always fun to have family groups, so it’s a great experience for younger paddlers too. Just double-check with the provider before booking.

Q: What should I wear for the SUP paddleboard lesson?

A: I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit or quick-dry shorts since you might get splashed! Also, don’t forget a rash guard or light long-sleeve shirt for sun protection. Water shoes or sandals are great too, as you'll want to be comfortable while paddling. And definitely bring a towel!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the lesson?

A: If the weather is bad, they really take safety seriously and will usually reschedule the lesson for you. They'll contact you beforehand if conditions seem off, so you'll know what to expect. Just be flexible with your dates just in case!

Thinking of gifting a SUP lesson at Cocoa Beach!

Hey everyone! I'm considering getting a SUP paddleboard lesson for my sister's birthday. She loves the water but has never paddleboarded before. How's the vibe? Would it be good for newbies? I saw they have dolphins and manatees too, which is super cool! Any tips?

Just did the SUP lesson at Cape Canaveral!

OMG, what a blast! I just got back from the lesson. The guides were awesome and super chill. We paddled around Banana River Lagoon and saw dolphins! It was so relaxing, and I was nervous at first but got the hang of it quickly. Highly recommend for anyone! 🌊
