Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s generally more suited for adults and teens since some of the food and the atmosphere can be more adult-oriented. Kids are welcome, but they might not appreciate the history and the tasting experience as much. If you bring little ones, just be prepared for a slower pace and maybe skip the beer sample!

Q: What if it rains on the day of the tour? Do they cancel or reschedule?

A: They do run in light rain, but if the weather is really bad, they’ll likely reschedule or offer you a refund. I went when it was sprinkling, and it was still a great time! Just bring a raincoat or an umbrella. They want you to enjoy the experience, so safety is important to them.

Q: What do you typically wear for this walking tour? Is it very casual?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go! You’ll be doing a lot of walking, so comfy shoes are a must. I wore sneakers and a light jacket since it can get breezy in the Village. If you're stopping at some of the boutiques, maybe bring a small backpack for any goodies you pick up!

Thinking of gifting the Women-Owned NYC Tour for my sister's birthday!

I really want to surprise my sister with something special, and this tour looks amazing! She loves Taylor Swift and trying new foods, plus supporting women-owned businesses is so important to her. Has anyone done this tour? What were the tastings like? I hope she gets to try that Brazilian cheese bread!

Just finished the Women-Owned NYC tour and wow!

OMG, this tour was incredible! We hit up some awesome spots in SoHo and Greenwich Village. The horseradish pickles were surprisingly good, and I loved learning about the women behind the businesses. If you’re a Taylor Swift fan, seeing her old townhouse was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend it for anyone who loves food and supporting women-owned businesses.
