Q: Are there any age restrictions for the surf lessons?

A: The lessons at La Vida Laguna are great for all ages! Kids as young as 8 can participate, but it's always good to check with the family if they're comfortable in the water. Just make sure they can swim a bit since it helps with learning. The semi-private format ensures plenty of attention from the instructor!

Q: What’s included in the surf lesson besides the instruction?

A: Your lesson includes everything you need! You'll get a surfboard and wetsuit, plus after the lesson, you can use their warm shower at the surf shop. It's a nice touch to rinse off after being in the ocean. Plus, the instructors are super friendly and help you with the basics of surfing!

Q: What do you wear for the surf lesson? Do they provide wetsuits?

A: Yes, they provide wetsuits! You just need to wear something comfortable underneath, like a swimsuit or athletic clothes. I wore a bikini and a rash guard for extra sun protection. Also, make sure to bring a towel for after your shower at the shop!

I’m looking to surprise my boyfriend with a surf lesson for his birthday! I’ve heard La Vida Laguna is great. The semi-private setup sounds perfect since he’s a beginner. OMG, guys! I just finished my surf lesson there, and it was the best experience! The waves were perfect for beginners, and the instructor was super chill. I felt safe the whole time, even when I wiped out. We got to practice popping up, and I actually caught a few small waves! Can’t wait to go back! Totally recommend it for anyone looking to try surfing!
