True surfing excellence comes from spending thousands of hours in the ocean, surfing different types of waves, and facing difficult conditions. We are a family owned and operated business with 40 years of surf dedication and experience. We are happy to share our experience with you by providing the highest quality Professional Surf Lessons. Our team of certified surf instructors have vast knowledge in surf, oceanography, and surf forecast. They are CPR, first aid, and water safety certified with credentials and background required to teach surf. All instructors go through a long and intense period of training to ensure they exceed EZride Surf School’s standards. Our goal is to have you surfing in a comfortable and confident way. We will help you learn to surf in a safe atmosphere.

A: You’ll want to wear a bathing suit for sure! They provide rash guards and wetsuits when needed, especially during the winter months. Just make sure to apply sunscreen because you'll be in the sun a lot. It’s good to be comfy!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the lesson? Can you reschedule easily?

A: EZride has a flexible rescheduling policy, especially if the weather isn’t cooperating. They’ll let you know if conditions aren’t safe for surfing, and you can easily pick another date. Just keep an eye on the forecast before scheduling!

I’m considering getting surf lessons for my boyfriend’s birthday and I found EZride in Fort Lauderdale. It looks awesome with all ages welcome! I really need to know if they’re good with beginners, though. He’s never surfed before. Also, do you recommend any specific instructors?

OMG, I just finished my surf lessons at EZride, and it was such a blast! The instructors were so knowledgeable and patient. I caught several waves—felt like a pro! I can’t recommend them enough. Also, the location is beautiful; you get to surf right by the beach. Totally a must-try experience!
