A: Yes, Aloha Surf School generally recommends that participants be at least 8 years old for the lessons. However, they can accommodate younger kids if they're adventurous and can swim. Just check with them when you book to see if they can work with your child’s age and skill level.
A: You can wear a swimsuit under the rash guard provided by Aloha Surf School. They recommend wearing board shorts or a bathing suit. Just make sure you’re comfortable because you'll be in the water the whole time. Water shoes are provided, but if you prefer your own, bring them!
A: Aloha Surf School is pretty flexible! If the conditions aren’t safe, they’ll usually contact you ahead of time to reschedule your lesson. You can also easily reschedule if you give them enough notice. Just check their cancellation policy when booking.

I’m considering getting my partner surf lessons at Aloha Surf School in Maui for their birthday. I've heard great things about the instructors being really friendly and supportive. Just did a surf lesson at Aloha Surf School!
I went to Aloha Surf School last week, and it was such an awesome experience! The instructors were chill but really effective at teaching. I was a total newbie, but I was riding small waves by the end of the lesson! It was about 3 hours long, and they provided everything. Highly recommend it if you’re thinking about it!
