Join us for Your Surfing Experience Fun. Ages 7-70. Everyone one books as "adult" Surfing is a unique adventurous San Diego (Oceanside) experience you will enjoy and never forget. You will probably want to return every year as the ocean and waves and you are always changing. The San Diego Surf beach camp is by tower 10 at Oceanside Harbor Beach. You will meet San Diego super friendly staff, who will fit you into a wetsuit, do a safety talk and instructions on the sand. Next our instructors will guide your group into the water where you will be greeted by one of nature's wonderful creations, ocean waves. Now it's time to feel it, fix it, ride it and smile for pics and video, 2 thumbs up your having fun. Q: What age range is suitable for this surfing lesson? My 7-year-old is super active!

A: The surfing experience is designed for ages 7 to 70, so your 7-year-old is definitely in the right age range! They will be in a group with instructors who are great with kids, plus everyone gets wetsuits and boards included. Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and ready to have some fun!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad? I don't want to ruin a gift.

A: Yes, if there's bad weather, you can definitely reschedule your surfing lesson! The staff will contact you if conditions aren't safe. Just keep an eye on the forecast and reach out to them ahead of time if you're worried. It’s super flexible, which is nice!

Q: What's the parking situation like at Oceanside Harbor Beach?

A: Parking can get a little hectic, especially on weekends, but there’s a lot close to the beach! There’s usually paid parking, and if you get there early, you should find a spot. Just remember to bring some quarters or download the parking app. You don’t want to miss your lesson because of parking troubles!

I’m planning to get surfing lessons for my family while we're in San Diego next month. We’ll be staying near Oceanside Harbor Beach, so this seems perfect! They say it’s suitable for all ages, but does anyone know how the instructors are with kids? I’m really looking for something fun we can all do together. Anyone had a good experience?

Just got back from the surfing lessons—best experience ever!

I just did the surfing lessons at Oceanside and OMG, it was incredible! The staff there was so friendly and really helped me catch my first wave! The beach is beautiful and the whole experience was so much fun. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a cool gift or just a fun day out. I’m already planning to go back next summer!
