Q&A
A: Yes, the class is generally for ages 21 and up since it's hosted at a distillery and involves alcohol. However, if you're thinking of bringing younger teens, some locations might allow them, but it's best to check with Classpop! to confirm. And don’t worry, everyone gets to enjoy the sushi, regardless of age!
A: Comfort is key! Wear something casual that you don’t mind getting a little messy. An apron is usually provided, but I’d recommend wearing clothes that you can easily move in. Also, maybe avoid anything too fancy since it's a hands-on experience. You’ll be rolling sushi, and things can get a bit sticky!
A: Yes, Classpop! allows you to reschedule classes, but it’s best to do it as soon as you know you can’t make it. They’re pretty flexible, but check their policy just in case! Usually, you can transfer to another date or even a different class if you give them some notice.

Just got back from the sushi making class at the distillery!
OMG, I just took the sushi making class with Chef Janet last night in Chicago and it was amazing! We learned how to make a veggie roll and a California roll, and I can't believe I actually rolled them myself! The distillery atmosphere was super cool too, with spirits available for purchase. Can't recommend this enough for a fun night out!
Thinking of gifting this sushi class, any thoughts?
I’m considering gifting the sushi making class to my partner for our anniversary. We both love sushi but have never tried making it ourselves. How did you guys find the instruction? Was it easy to learn the techniques? I really want it to be special!
