Q&A
A: Great question! This class is generally suitable for teens 13 and up, but it’s always a good idea to check with the provider. Chef Melanie is great with younger cooks, so your teenager should have a blast! Just remember to let them know that alcohol will be available for adults, if you're cool with that.
A: No formal dress code, so you can definitely come straight from work! Just wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy. An apron is provided, but I’d suggest wearing older clothes just in case of any spills or splashes.
A: The class is held indoors at the taproom, so rain or shine, you’re good to go! However, if there’s a severe weather warning, they might reschedule. It’s best to keep an eye on your email for any updates from Classpop!

Just took the sushi making class at the taproom and loved it!
I went to the sushi making class last week with my partner, and we had such a blast! Chef Melanie is super fun and really knows her stuff. We made a California roll, a veggie roll, and a spicy tuna roll. The ingredients were fresh, and the beer selection at the taproom was perfect to pair with our creations. If you’re thinking about it as a gift, go for it! It’s a unique experience that we’ll remember!
Considering gifting the sushi class to my friend!
I’m thinking about getting the sushi making class for my friend’s birthday. She loves cooking and trying new things! Has anyone done this class, and would you recommend it? What was the best part?
