Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for participants in the sushi masterclass?

A: Yes, participants should be at least 16 years old to join the class. It's a hands-on experience, so younger kids might not fully enjoy it. If you’re thinking about gifting this to someone younger, maybe consider bringing them along as a fun adult-child duo!

Q: What should I wear to the sushi masterclass?

A: Casual, comfortable clothing is best since you'll be cooking and working with food. An apron can be helpful, though they usually provide them. Just avoid anything too fancy—you’ll definitely get a little messy while rolling sushi!

Q: How easy is it to reschedule this sushi class if something comes up?

A: Rescheduling is fairly straightforward! Just give Cozymeal a call or email them at least 48 hours before your class, and they can help you find another date that works. They’re really accommodating as long as you give some notice.

Just took the sushi masterclass in D.C. and loved it!

I recently attended the sushi masterclass hosted by Cozymeal in D.C. and it was amazing! The venue felt cozy and intimate, with only 8 of us in the class. We made a spicy tuna roll and several hand rolls, plus I finally learned how to create a caterpillar roll! The chef was super chill and gave great tips. Totally recommend it as a unique gift experience! Can’t wait to show off my sushi skills!

Considering the sushi masterclass as a gift – any opinions?

I’m thinking of getting the sushi masterclass for my best friend’s birthday. She loves sushi but has never cooked before. Is this class beginner-friendly? What do you all think about the 4-course meal included? Sounds delicious! Any tips?
