Q&A
A: There's no official age limit, but kids need to be able to fit in the life vests provided. Generally, children around 4 years and older can comfortably ride. Just make sure they can follow instructions, as it's a little tricky to pedal if they're too small. It's a fun family activity for sure!
A: If it rains, you can absolutely reschedule your swan boat rental! Just contact Wheel Fun Rentals, and they’ll help you find a new time. They’re pretty flexible, but just keep an eye on the weather forecast before heading out to make sure you don’t get caught in a downpour!
A: The swan boats are pretty comfy! They have shaded canopies which help a lot, especially on sunny days. I recommend bringing a small cooler with snacks and drinks—just no alcohol allowed. Also, wear sunscreen and maybe a hat to keep the sun off your face while you're pedaling around the lake!

Who else has done the Swan Boat rental at Echo Park?
I took my girlfriend on a surprise date to the Swan Boat Rentals at Echo Park last weekend, and it was such a blast! The lotus beds are gorgeous, and the fountains are super cute. We brought some sandwiches and drinks (no alcohol, though!) and just floated around for an hour. The shady canopies kept us cool! I definitely recommend it as a unique experience in LA. Anyone else had fun here?
Looking for a unique gift experience in LA—any thoughts on the Swan Boats?
I’m thinking about gifting the Swan Boat rental for my friend’s birthday since she loves cute outdoor activities! I’ve never done it myself, but it sounds really fun. How long do you usually get to paddle around? Also, is it more ideal for couples or can groups go too?
