Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the swim with dolphins tour? Do we need special swimsuits?

A: You’ll want to wear a snug swimsuit since you’ll be snorkeling, but honestly, anything comfortable goes! Just make sure to bring a towel and maybe a light cover-up for when you’re on the boat. Also, don’t forget sunscreen! The sun can be pretty intense out there.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the dolphin swim tour?

A: Yes, kids can join, but they need to be at least 5 years old to participate in the snorkeling. It’s a pretty safe environment, but younger children may need an adult to accompany them in the water. Just check with Aloha Ocean when you book!

Q: What are the chances of cancelation due to weather? How are refunds handled?

A: Weather can be unpredictable, especially on the coast, but Aloha Ocean will usually notify you the day before if conditions aren’t safe. They offer rescheduling options or a full refund if it gets canceled due to weather. Always good to confirm their policies when you book!

Thinking of booking the dolphin tour in West Oahu! Any tips?

I’m planning a trip to Oahu next month and I’m really excited about the Swim With Dolphins & Turtles experience. I’ve heard great things about Aloha Ocean and how they focus on small groups. Is the snorkeling hard? I know my kids would love this, but I want to make sure it’s a good fit for them! Any advice would be awesome.

Just went on the dolphin tour and it was AMAZING!

I did the Swim With Dolphins & Turtles tour last week and it was honestly one of the best experiences ever! The crew was super friendly, and seeing dolphins up close was surreal. We were on a small boat which made it feel so personal. Bring a camera – you’ll want to capture every moment! Totally recommend it!
