Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to be able to join in the tandem kayak?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 6 years old so they can help paddle. And everyone under 18 needs to have a parent or guardian with them. Just be sure to keep it fun and safe for the little ones!

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad and we can't go kayaking?

A: If the weather is severe, they’ll usually reschedule you for another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your booking. It’s always best to call ahead if in doubt, though!

Q: How long does the kayaking experience usually last?

A: The rental duration can vary because it’s pretty flexible; most people spend about 2 hours on the water. You can always choose to go longer if you want to explore more!

Just booked a tandem kayak rental for my anniversary!

I’m so excited, I just booked a tandem kayak rental at Panther Island Beach for my girlfriend and me! It’s supposed to be a beautiful way to paddle while checking out the city views. We’re going this weekend, and I hope the weather holds up! Also, I’ve heard parking can be tricky there, so I’ll probably arrive a bit early. Has anyone else done this? Any tips?

Thinking of gifting a kayak experience for my friend's birthday!

Hey guys! I want to gift my friend a tandem kayak rental for their birthday. It sounds amazing and I love that it supports conservation. Do you think it’s a good idea for a first-time kayaker? Also, how should I wrap this gift?
