Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the tandem kayak rental?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to paddle. If they're younger, you can bring them along, but they’ll need to sit in the middle and share with an adult. Just make sure everyone wears a life jacket, which is provided!

Q: What should we wear for kayaking on Rehoboth Bay?

A: Dress comfortably! Quick-dry shorts or swimsuits work well. I’d recommend wearing a tank top and bringing a light jacket if it’s breezy. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. The sun can be pretty strong out there!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, they are pretty flexible with weather-related issues. Just give them a call ahead of time and they’ll help you find another time to go out. They want everyone to have a good experience, so they totally understand if the weather is not cooperating.

Thinking of gifting a tandem kayak rental! Any tips?

Hey everyone! I’m planning to get a tandem kayak rental for my parents' anniversary at Rehoboth Bay. They’ve never kayaked before, so I'm a bit nervous. It’s a 2-hour rental, and I think they’ll love the scenic sights. Any tips on what they should bring or expect?

Just did the tandem kayak rental - what a blast!

I took the tandem kayak rental out at Rehoboth Bay last week, and it was awesome! The bay is so calm. We saw some cool birds and even a few turtles! The guides were super helpful. If you're thinking about it, go for it! Just remember to bring water and sunscreen.
