Q&A
A: From what I know, there isn’t a strict minimum age, but it’s best for kids 12+ since there’s a lot of walking and some historical context that might be more engaging for teens. Just keep in mind that some food options may not appeal to younger kids, but there should be enough variety for everyone! If your daughter enjoys learning about history and trying new foods, she’ll probably have a great time!
A: They usually go rain or shine, but if the weather is really bad, they might reschedule. Just keep an eye on the forecast and check your email, as they’ll notify you if there are any changes. I did the tour in light rain once, and it was still a blast – just bring an umbrella!
A: Absolutely! They have a variety of food stops, and you just need to mention any dietary restrictions when booking. I’m a vegetarian, and they offered a delicious veggie pizza at one of the stops. It’s a nice mix of cuisines – from pizza to tarts, and more. You’ll definitely get a taste of Georgetown’s culinary diversity!

Just did the Georgetown Food & History Tour — What an experience!
I went on the Tastes of Georgetown tour last weekend, and wow, it was such a blast! Our guide was full of great stories about the neighborhood's history, and the food stops were amazing. We tried pizza from an award-winning spot and some sweet tarts that were to die for! The three hours flew by. Definitely recommend it as a gift for foodies or history buffs. Can’t wait to go again!
Planning to gift this Georgetown tour – any tips?
I’m thinking about getting the Tastes of Georgetown tour for my parents' anniversary. They love history and trying new food! Is there anything specific I should know before booking? Also, how's the parking situation in Georgetown?
