Q&A
A: The San Miguel River trip is great for kids! The minimum age is usually around 8 years old, but it's best to check with the tour provider for specific age restrictions. Kids will love the excitement, and it’s a beautiful way to introduce them to rafting. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water!
A: Great question! If the weather is unsafe for rafting, the company will usually reschedule your trip without any extra charges. They’re really good about keeping safety first, so if it looks sketchy, they'll let you know. Just call ahead to confirm details!
A: You’ll definitely want to wear quick-dry clothes, and they provide wetsuits and splash jackets! The water can be chilly, especially in the morning, but the wetsuit keeps you warm. Just wear sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting wet, and a swimsuit underneath works great!

Just did the Telluride rafting trip—what a blast!
I took the Telluride 1 Day Rafting Trip with Lunch on the San Miguel River last week, and I can’t recommend it enough! The views were stunning, especially the red sandstone canyons against the pine trees. We had a mix of beginners and some more experienced folks, and everyone had a great time. The lunch was decent too! Perfect way to recharge. Can’t wait to go again!
Looking for a unique gift experience—how's this rafting trip?
I’m considering the Telluride 1 Day Rafting Trip for my brother’s birthday. He loves outdoor adventures, but he’s never been rafting before. Is this suitable for a total newbie? Also, what kind of safety measures do they have?
